for Rosenthal

Designer Assistant for Studio Sebastian Herkner

Designed for Rosenthal’s 2015 collection, the Meta hook came about with the wish of the company to develop colored porcelain. While working at the Studio Sebastian Herkner, I explored the functionality to create a minimal and essential hook. The delicacy of the matter and the union of two subtle shapes emphasize the poetry of the hook. Meta could either find its place close to the dressing table thanks to the graceful mirror detail or in the hallway with its numerous refined combination.

“The unusual “Meta” coat hooks have a bold mix-and-match system with a Neo-Scandinavian look. A total of seven variants and three colours can be mixed and matched playfully to your own taste. The coat hooks make for the perfect alternative to a protruding coat rack in the hallway, but “Meta” can make a statement even without coats and jackets. Artistically minded residents can use the range of coat hooks to design their own individual wall installation.”
